Default My first dyno plot with the Drag III installed.

I posted my air/fuel plot on the FI board...dont know if any of you saw it. Basically my car needs fuel BAD! But besides all that I feel good about the car and how it runs...just gotta get the fuel issue taken care of.

The plot is layed over my BONE stock plot so you can see the difference. You will also see on the turbo plot that it only goes to 7400 rpms. At that point the J&S was going crazy and retarding the timing by over 14 degrees so I let off the throttle.

This was just a baseline, no tuning, no fuel pressure riser, no V-AFC, nothing but a 12:1 FMU and inline fuel pump. Car is running 6psi.

the numbers say 159.9hp with 112.7tq stock
205.8hp with 151.1 at 7400 rpms untuned.
both my stock run and turbo run were done in 4th gear.

I hope u can pull lots more power after you get her tuned. I would not be happy with only 205hp or so with a turbo setup. did you keep your stock bottom end or lower the compression?

Car is completely stock (internals and compression)

Not too bad, just feed that motor some fuel and you should be good. Good luck

The wavy part of your dyno plot looks scary - but otherwise

you might also want to consider upgrading the engine mounts and LSD - or else you are never gonna be able to hook up your blown ****. I heard those Z-10 traction bars are also a worthy upgrade

Yeah that wavy part is why im not driving the car until the AEM comes in. Its been parked since the dyno runs. As soon as the fuel thing is taken care of I will then start upgrading other things such as clutch, mounts, etc etc.

Not sure if I stated this earlier either but this is at 6psi.

WTF, you have installed a DRAG III kit which is supposed to run not bad with the stuff in the kit. You can not tune a stock DRAG III kit, cause the FMU has a fixed rising rate of 12:1. So why the hell does companys deal with kits, when you have to upgrade to get a safe setup?

Buy injesotrs, standalone, cam gears, ASAP 3" exhaust and you are the man!

How much boost were you running? And you said no fuel pressure riser, but 12:1 FMU?

Not sure the name...its the inline fuel pump that came with the DRAG kit. I have a Walbro 255l/hr high pressure for when I drop the AEM system in.

I have a custome 2.5" exhaust all the way back with mandrel bends and test pipe.

At 6 psi on the stock motor he should see about 225-230 whp.

Yeah, but the Drag kit is good for something...its relatively inexpensive and comes with everything you need. If I had owned a V-AFC before hand then I could have tuned the car a bit and wouldnt really have that serious a fuel issue. The 12:1 FMU is doing its job I guess but its not enough or my injectors are maxed out...one or the other.

No fuel pressure riser meaning something like the AEM unit or Aeromotive or B&M...no way to increase the pressure all across the board. The Vortec 12:1 FMU comes with the kit.

Then I doubt your injectors are maxing out without the general fuel pressure cranked up...

Yeah, like I said Im sure with a FPR and v-afc I could get it more fuel...but I dont want to push the stock injectors to the max and worry about what could go wrong..ill invest in the 550s and standalone since I have a built block going in the car soon anyways and ill need these things.

you'll see 240ish with 6-7 pounds........

injectors are not "maxed"

rail pressure...yes, but not injectors.

your j&s needs "tweaking"

If you need to keep:

stock bottom end
stock ECU

What's the best way to go about handling the fuel issue?
