Default 92 civic cx with 94 ls swap wont turn on. lights dont come on, nothing HELP!!!!

i have a 92 civic cx with a 94 ls swap and today i went out and started my car and it started right up. i let it run for about five mins then turned it off. i turned it back on and went to start it and it cranked once then the whole car died. the lights that usually come on with the key turned dont come on anymore(CEL, Battery,SEatbelt, etc.) the fuel pump doesnt come on, nothing, its like the car is completly dead. i have a brand new battery in the car and have tested it numerous times. i am stumped on what it can be so i'm calling out to all of h-t to help. h-t has helped with many other problems, i hope h-t can help again.

Check your grounds and go through the fuse box is my guess.

Do the headlights turn ON?

If so, check the ignition switch as you mentioned.

I plan on doing an LS Swap in my 93 DX Hatch, I hope I don't run in to as many problems as I have been seeing people have with them.

ONLY issue I've ever had with my LS swap into my 92 CX hatch was the oil pressure switch started to leak a little bit, other wise the swap has been FANTASTIC and gets 28mpg being beaten to all hell.
