Spoken like a stereotypical 15" Rota rolling Honda owner, haha. The car came stock with 19"s, and I am rolling on 19"s. Most of us do run 18"s at the track but some don't clear big brake kits. I plan on getting a set of 18"s with R rubber for the track eventually.

definatly a bitchin car. only things I'd do different/change is smoke the tailights and go with either black or blue(matching the color of the car...not the normal rotora blue) calipers so as to tie the entire car together....the red seems kind of out of place IMO

I would have to agree with this. Great car, don't get me wrong, but the red does look a little out of place. Smoking the tail lights slighty would definitely look great on the car, as there is a lot of black on there already.

Can I ask a totally retarded question? Would the CF rear-lower diffuser you have there fit on a regular 3 series?
What body panels on the M3 are different in dimensions than a regular 3 series coupe, other than the obvious fenders?
Told you it was retarded, but I've never owned one and I've been wondering. Thanks!

I have never been a fan of smoked or tinted tail lights. I like my tail lights bright red just like I like my calipers.

The rear bumper on the 3 series is completely different. I don't think it has a spot for a diffuser at all. I think every panel on the M3 is different than the 3 series. Maybe not the rear quarters but definitely the front quarters since we have the gills on the side. The hood is different as is the front bumper but you can get the M sport bumper option on the 3 series which is basically the same as the M3 bumper.

JDM+EDM... More proof that mixed relationships are the way to go! haha.

Haha I love the BFGs, and I have wanted a set since they came out. They are extra wide for a 275 tire as well. I would also love a CSL bootlid, but the OEM ones are nearly impossible to find and very pricey. The Vorsteiner ones are still pretty pricey, but I worry about finding a competent body shop to paint and install it. I'd rather spend money else where.

Your gonna love this. I got them from R&D Motorsports, haha. Sounds like you hate them. I got my Volks from Dave for my 350Z so I went back to him for the M3. It was quite an experience getting the wheels for my car as we tried to order a custom set that never got made and they didn't tell us till 7 months after we ordered them. So I ended up going with what Mackin had in stock which was:
Volk Racing TE37 Flat Black 19 x 8.5 +30 (Front)
Volk Racing TE37 Flat Black 19 x 10.5 +25 (Rear)
Mackin normally stocks some 18"s and 19"s for the E46 M3 and Tire Rack sells the RE30s in 18". Check out the great e-mail Dave got from a rep at Mackin after waiting 7 months:
Dave,
After talking with the factory in Japan, they have informed us that the reason for the delay is due to the quantity being made. Rays Wheels requires a minimum of 40 pieces each size to make with customer colors. This means they have to make 40 fronts and 40 rears. And this wheel you are asking for is a custom color and lug pattern.
They said they let our purchasing department know but no one informed me about this. If your customer is willing to wait, then I can push the factory to make these. Otherwise we may have to find another wheel for your customer.
Sorry.
Best Regards,

Every panel is different besides the doors. If I remember correctly. The rear quarters are a tad bit wider in the rear than the normal 3s.
Car looks killer Tut, makes me want to sell my IS even more and get an E46 M3

Yeah I sold that to a guy locally after I bought my 2006 Nissan Frontier Crew Cab SE with 6 speed manual. I didn't need the 4 door anymore. It is still running great last I heard:
