I am sort of new to the honda scene but are there any cams that are just drop in with no tuning, and if I do need tuning what ecu or piggyback would you recomend? I am a nissan guy still getting used to the hondas.. ty

 

In which engine?

You can drop ITR cams into the GSR/B16, but i would recommend using the valetrain also.

 

just a stock gsr atm, when upgrading the valvetrain would I just need springs and retainers or would I need more, what other cam options are there, also some ecu or tuning options... all comments appriciated

 

Springs and retainers would probally be fine..

I would recommend using crome to tune on or using it with a known reputable tuner in your area.

If you go with a more aggressive cam.. like jun 3, skunk 2, etc.. You will need more compression for hp gains/best powerband
