I have a DC sport shifter love it big time. Friend has a no name brand one and he agree's he likes the feel of mine better. Same hb so it was a good comparison.
Just cut and reweld your existing shifter. I cut the length of mine(f rom the top of the pivot point or what ever it's called) to make it shorter, then addes that piece to the bottom of the pivot point. Your going to have to cut and weld though. I have a Couple of frinds with after market ones and they say they prefer mine do to the throw being shorter. That's just my 2 cents. I've had mine for about 7 years now. it's pretty much just wrist action when shifting..

i have the DC sports one w/ busings, my friend has another hatch and he has the Skunk2 and he loves it. I havn't gotten to test it out yet.
i have a generic ebay one. works fine. still ahvent gotten the bushing yet. but its jsut a little rough. and i like ti thay way. hehe.
B&M Edge, poly bushings, cut down about 3/4" w/stock **** cut about 3/4". Nice and notchy. I'd go shorted if I could (height), but that would mean rethreading the shifter and I don't have the tools.
