whats the difference in weight between the jdm vs. usdm doors on the eg's? i've hear that jdm doors are much lighter; by how much? and why is much lighter?

yeah and the last thing you want missing is your crash bar in the door gone....unless you have a full cage that comes down by your door....very unsafe for daily driving!!!!

 

i understand that, but this is not my daily driver. this is my track/circuit car. but how much weight will this save? im asking because if i do buy jdm doors, ill need to have them paint matched to my car. but if it saves me like 5 lbs per door, then its totally not worth it

 

you can buy carbon fiber doors....

 

carbon fiber doors are expensive as hell

You would be just aswell cutting the frame and stuff out your current doors, you could loose a lot of weight from them and it wouldnt cost you anything. You could probably get them lighter than a JDM door too
