part number for USDM "R" rods same as JDM B18C rods
Rebuilding my motor. One rod was bad. Deciding to buy all new rods in that motor is for road course work only. Question is the B18c5 USDM rod have the same part number as the JDM B18c? I have a B18c engine. Thanks.

No, not the same part number at all. Different rods and different part numbers.

does anyone know where I can find out what the part number is and where I can find the JDM one. Or at least where can I go to look it up. The rod lengths are the same from what I have seen but what the difference is I don't know. Thanks.

The JDM ITR rods and the USDM ones are identical. ITR rods supposedly have a different metal composition (not verified but read) and different rod bolts (verified). They run different bearing codes also allowing you to more precisely control clearances. The bolts are supposed to be torqued using a stretch gauge instead of the conventional torque wrench method also.
