I need some info on how much work is required. I know they come cable and the swap is hydro. Car comes obd1 and k20 is obd2? I will prob use a stock k20 out of a type s with a stock ecu. Info on mounts for a k20 swap into a 92 gsr. I just need alot of info on this. Most likely going with one from hmotorsonline. lmk what you think about the website. JUST GIVE ME MUCHO INFO
Custom fabricated mounts, lots of wiring, pretty difficult swap. There's a guy over at G2IC that did it though. Steve at Hmotors is a stand up guy. I have bought several motors from him (many for friends swaps) and have never had a problem.

I hurd hmotors was good. Thats where my buddy bought his type r swap for his ek si
I have a friend on myspace who swapped a k20 into a da. Its metalic orange with purple rims. I msged him asking. If it gets too hard, I'll get velocity trends to help with the wiring. I can do everything else.

Your buddy is the only guy I know of that actually did it and turned out great. I think he had close to $10,000 to complete everything and that was doing it himself.
It is very hard and time consuming. I personally would just spend half the money and build a killer B20/VTEC or LS/VTEC.
Although his car turned out amazing and he spent a lot of money, in the end, I don't think it would be worth all that money.
