Default Overheating problem - need front bumper advice and knowledge about Duraflex bumpers

Guys I need some advice

I have a 93 Civic hatch with a turbo B18C5 in it and I need to find a new front bumper that extends the front of the car a couple inches.

I am running into a heat problem because I have the intercooler then the condenser and finally a radiator and I do not think I am getting enough airflow through it right now with one half radiator size fan. I want to add in a set of full radiator size electric fans to help with the airflow but I do not have room with the stock bumper.

I like the look of the spoon style but I need more info on the actual dimensions. My goal is to move the intercooler and condenser forward an inch or so to give me the room I need. Anybody have any experience with these Duraflex bumpers?

Any info or advice would be greatly appreciated

well your on the right track, at my work, we have cars from the factory with coolers stacked in the order you said, intercooler, condensor, radiator, and we dont have any issues with boost heat hurting the a/c or overheating, just one helluva fan. i dunno anything about a bumoper, but for what its owrth i know you can leave it in theat order.

use a big *** electric pusher fan, you can put it in between any of the three or in front of the intercooler. not only will it help you engine temp it will help cool your charge temp.

besides aftermarket bumpers are oogly and ricey.

I could not agree more about how ugly most aftermarket bumpers are!! It has been a real struggle to find anything that is even close to stock looking (the one pictured above being the closest I have found).

I know what I need to do to fix it the only problem is the space. I know that there is a company that does fiberglass bumpers for drag cars that are an exact replica of the stock look but with more depth. The only issue is that they stick out wider to cover slicks which I do not need... The search continues.
