Default Koni yellow perch

Searched. Currently on mt 5th gen im lowered on Ground control and koni yellows. i have the GC almost to the lowest possible, withbarely thread left and i still have a finger or less gap in the front. its been about 6 month since ive had them on. Now i would like to drop it just a little bit more in the front but i have no more thread on the GC. I read that i could take everything out again and set the perch on the Koni's to the lowest perch. im assuming if i do that then it will free up my GC and let me adjust them lower. Is the any negative feedback about putting the koni's on the lowest perch so that my GC wont be on the last thread and i can free them up a little. any advice is thanked.

Gotta love Koni for there perch system. No negatives at all, just be careful about bottoming out your shocks with the lowest perch setting. I have the same exact setup in my basement, soon will be on my 4th gen. Good luck.

Unless they started making new Koni's in the past two years the front only have two settings not three.

Its about a 1 inch difference (20mm) and personally i don't like how it rides on the lowest setting good luck.

The ride quality is what i was afraid of. but i also hate having the GC almost on the last thread. thats why i was thinking maybe lowering the perch only on the front so the GC can have some spare threads and still be low. Is anyone currently running this low perch on the front and the middle perch on the rear? if so , please let me know how it rides?

What you are thinking of doing is just fine, since if you adjust the perch down lower, you can have more control of your ground control threaded area, without reaching the end of your threads. I have my Konis set up with the perch on the lowest in front, and one up in the back, and it works fine, although honestly too low for driving most places. I am also running neuspeed race springs as opposed to a coilover though.

And the Koni should have 3 perch slots for the normal shocks, and Neuspeed sells them with 5 adjustment slots for height, I know this is true since its whats on my car!

Koni Yellow's do not come with 3 perchs in the front unless i have the only set with two perchs.
