light fly wheel resurface?
im planning to get a gsr tranny, change out new clutch, i already have a light weight flywheel, wondering if i can resurface the fly wheel or better to get a new one?
What kind of flywheel is it? A 1pc chromoly can be resurfaced, an aluminum with steel friction surface, like a Fidanza, needs to have the friction surface replaced.
So... does it have screws in the friction surface or not?

I like my OEM Exedy. I would either get that, ACT, ClutchMasters, Spec, or Honda. No eBay F1 clutch crap, you don't want it to go out, at all.
I know a guy with a '91 Civic with 205k and the original clutch is just now slipping, so Honda clutches are pretty hard to beat, I would go to Acura and get a GSR clutch or Type-R clutch if you decide not to get the Exedy kit.

not bad.
I have the ACT pro-lite flywheel, and I don't have any issues with it or anything, I think it's pretty easy to drive.
And I have an ebay f1 clutch, no issues with that either. I also know 4 other people who use them, and have no problems either. I'm sure there are horror stories about those clutches, but just letting you know, works good for me

I know what you mean though. My one friend buys so much off of ebay, and I'd be nervous about that, there is a lot of junk stuff out there haha
