hi, I just put a 5 speed in my brothers automatic 96 hx, and everything is good except it is hard to get into gear when the cars running, you have to push the clutch damn near through the floor board to get it in gear, the tranny has been sitting for 3 years at least and supposedly was good when pulled, I was thinking maybe the slave cylinder, I know the clutch is bleed right, the pedal also feels springy. any help would be appreciated.

 

My clutch slave cylinder went a wee while ago, the biting point went to about an inch off the floor - i replaced it and bled the system and its worked fine ever since
