Default Front motor mount help d16z6 swap

I have a 1990 honda civic hatchback DX and have a d16z6 in it. I'm missing the front motor mount that's located right under the radiator but i'm not sure to buy the 92-95 civic front motor mount or the 88-91 civic front motor mount. sorry to ask a dumb question. I'm sure everybody knows this, sorry to ask but i'm in need.

btw can i buy it at schucks or napa? or do i have to go straight to the honda dealer? Thanks guys.

you need the 88-91 mount. the dealer is the only one i have ever gotten something like that from, but you may have better luck than me.

To be fair, i really dont know if the 92+ mount is any different, but I assume you are using the 88-91 trans.. soo

You will want to order a front mount for your 90 honda civic. The front mount depends on your transmission and front crossmember setup, and since you are running both a stock transmission and stock crossmember you would need to order one for your 90 honda civic.

You should be able to order an aftermarket one through schucks or napa, but i would suggest buying a oem mount from honda.

yeah i agree with toolbox. i mean come on there are some things u just dont go to the junkyard for. pay the 16 dollars and buy a new mount. then go ahead and buy inserts. it will pay off.

I have a d16z6 in my crx and don't use the front mount cause I have a traction bar and everything is fine. One thing I did do is add polyeurathane motor mounts to keeps things from rocking back and forth. Works for me. Front mounts not really needed. B series swap guys don't use then either.
