Default Need Help Identifying Top Mount Turbo Manifold - Much appreciated

so heres the story.
i recieved this as a garbage gift from a friend who had it laying around the house. she was bout to throw it away cuz it took too much space but instead she gave it to me.
i posted it on craigslist as well as honda tech for $200 untill some one really thoughtful (much appreciated) called me across the country just to tell me that its worths far more than my asking price..

need help to double check from more experienced people..

and a matching down pipe

i've checked on http://www.full-race.com/catal...=1237.. and found its worth $1100, and the down pipe i think is
http://www.full-race.com/catal...=1273 and its worth about $575..

are they the same or replicas... and how much are they worth on the market..

both manifold and downpipe is brand new, they have never been used..
are they full on drag racing setup?

looks like F-R to me. The robotic welds on the runners give it away. try getting better quality pics and closer ups of the runner welds

Yep, looks like Full-Race to me..There should be a FR stamped/etched on the outlet flange but I am not sure if they just recently started doing that. I know on my manifold and several others I have seen they etch the letters FR on that flange. In any event it looks to be a FR manifold and if it is you can at least get 1,000+ dollars for it. If your looking for a super quick sale post that bad boy up in the marketplace for 1,000 and it will be gone in a matter of hours. Also, from the looks of it, it appears to be T4..GOOD LUCK

I certainly hope you use the resulting cash to buy that girl something. Something similar happened to me (not to this extent though), and I ended up getting something really special from the girl for being honest...

What do you mean she said it was just laying around taking up space? If she had no clue what it is or worth how did she get it in the first place? Just curious. Nice find though

Hey I was the one who gave you a call the other day. I am glad you got it up here on HT and did not end up getting rid of it for $200... Although I would have loved to have gotten that I would have felt bad for such a cheap price. Hope the sale works out for you. Let me know if you do decide to ship it.

Thanks,
George

hey, once again i really do appreciate it, a friend that works at a tuning shop told me i could sell it for around $1300 b/c of the downpipe, and thats what im trying, was also trying $1500 but thought it may go faster this way... im just trying to get as much as possible out of it, my motor is dying on me, and i was in a accident no long ago and still didnt fix it.. so i hope some1 picks it up
... local pick up is 1st priority but if it doesnt work out, i could do $1300 shipped ..
lmk..

the manifold is only 1200 new.

you are surly not going to sell it for more than the cost of it brand new.

and now that people know you got it for free, dont expect anything over 1000 for both.

1,200 would be a quicker sale. You might sit on it for a while for 1,300 but you never know its still lower than it would cost someone else to buy it from FR but then again we aren't even 100% sure its FR.

thats what I was gonna say. brand new its still 1,200 plus 575. But like this guy said if people know you got it for free they aren't gonna give you that much. I wouldn't but thats just me. hell you were gonna give it away for 200 take a 1000 and run. you should be lucky that this gentleman even said something to you.

uhh where are you getting 1300 from?????

and 575 for a downpipe is rediculus, buy a 3" to 4" cone, and a 4" bends and material and make you one for less than 200 dollars. and be the same thing.
