92 Swap To H22a4 Startz But boggs out and /or dies when givin gas...2rpm stall speed and aem cam gears ,dc sports headers have been added
..when i back the car up it running ruff az hell az if the motor is goin to come out he car....i put it in drive and i have no power to even more the car ....if i put the padel to the floor it just dies out.....please anyone that can help? ive been stuck on this for a while....oh and i have the h23 harness on the h22a4 motor could the vtec or the heated o2 do this?

ok i just looked up some codes i found out today by jumpin it for the CEL Codes....i have ecu i had in the car wit the h23a1...factory it gives the code 41 Primary Oxygen Sensor - Heater circuit malfunction ...i hooked up my new chipped ecu and i get the codes 19 & 22 ...19 ...idk wat it iz ...22 VTEC Oil Pressure Switch defective circuit or unplugged / defective oil pressure switch

did you use you obd1 distributor? and you will need to get a p13 to run the car properly and wire your vtec... as for the o2 yea you only need 1 since its obd1... and yes if you don't have it plugged up you car will run like **** or at least my obd2 prelude did... i threw 2 code for the o2 system 2 lean, and primary circuit heater malfunction.
update>> i spend all day on it today at our shop i wired the o2 sensor up right so the code iz gone...also i do a ecu for the vtec and all i had it chipped and all (thatz not the problem made sure) i also have the old ecu from the h23a1 i try both wit fixing something.....anyway i wired the o2 the code iz gone itz still runz like **** ...i did use the dis. from the h23a1 ..so the 4 wires comin out of the bottom of the motor but the crank pulley doesnt need to b wired up correct? (read that on here)..i also noticed that when i hold the idle around 1500rpmz i get a random pop comin out the exhaust...all this b cuz of the timing? do i have to timing oil pump? wit the cams...and wat else would have to b set if so.....just sum info on all this ..i had left my car it a guy i kno to buy and buy the motor he does it alot...so i left the car there i gave em the money for the motor the cams where in it ...i paid em for a stall speed converter...around come out about $4000 and i still have nothing but that motor and a mess to fix so illl post everything i can all thank you all the help..one more thing it smokez alot too much gas not enuff? if i padel the gas it will rev up if i just push it it will die...seem likez not enuff gas but at the same time....i smell alot of gas
