Well what would you do with a B16 full swap?
all feedback replys are welcome but remember it si going ot be my daily driver so has to be streetable

CRX!!!
I will do this soon someday. Just need to find a good shell that has been in no accidents and has no rust...oh yeah, and the whole money issue
.
The CRX with the small wheel base, light weight, wide stance, and small turning radius will do very well as an autocross car.

CRX or EG hatch. Damn, I would like a "project" car in the near future. I'm always looking through the papers for 92-95 EGs for a good price. Just curious, why didn't you make a hybrid with the ITR motor you have? Good luck and let us know how she runs..

and I want to challlenge them on a fair basis our cars weigh in only 12lb difference so I want to give them a run for there money and if I win they cant claim a unfair advatage. Also I have always wanted a ITR but could never afford it so I makeing my own in a sence but to my specifications(yea I know it sounds dumb but I am hella happy) Also I beat that dumb imobilizer prob found out how to wire it up and not throw a cell and still have the imbolizer still work
not that it will stop thieves but its cool that i get to start my car with a ITR key hehhee love that ****. Well keep your comments coming and ideas

Sell the B16 to buy a CRX.
When the car weighs nothing, a stock motor will do.
ITA here you come!

A B16 CRX is fine if you don't want to race competitively in any class.
For HPDEs and such it'll be just fine.

"IMPROVED TOURING...
A VERY GOOD PLACE TO START Arguably, SCCA's most popular entry-level production-based category, Improved Touring (IT) is comprised of 4- and 6-cylinder and rotary-powered automobiles featuring limited modifications. These cars do not compete on a National level, but is probably the most popular Regional-only classification. Improved Touring is separated into four classes: Improved Touring - S (ITS), Improved Touring - A (ITA), Improved Touring - B (ITB), and Improved Touring - C (ITC). The vast majority of cars in this class are former Showroom Stock cars at least five model years old (but no older than the 1968 year model). Engines and transmissions are blueprinted stock assemblies with the majority of modifications centered on suspension improvements, making IT particularly attractive to the budget-minded racer. In addition, with over 250 different classified car models and a very stable rules structure, Improved Touring is capable of suiting virtually any racing budget. "

Buy a theft recovery Si.
Put your engine in it.
Put whatever other leftover stock parts you have in it also.
Sell it for a profit and use that money to start your project.

-Dave, who REALLY REALLY wants to see a Z600 with a B16
Easiest swap is a B18 (B or C) into an EG hatch. Drop the motor, move/ add a few wires and you're done.
It's a bit more involved to drop a B16/ B18 into an HF. You need mounts, a modified shifter, harness changes and I believe the hubs in the HF need to be changed as well.
I really wanted to do a B18C swap into my 89HF, but after doing the math and figuring out what all would have to be done I might be picking up a CX or VX instead.
