hard brake lines rusted out..
I have been working on my '90 integra and just came to realize that the brake lines that run along the bottom of the chassis are rusted so bad that they literally fall apart when you touch them. I went to my acura dealer and they can't even get the hard lines anymore. I've never done custom bends before, nor have i flared hard lines, so.. what are my options here?
The Acura dealer told me that I could likely buy brake hose and cut the hard lines, flare and install them. Is this something I could just take to a brake shop and have them fix? If so, to me, it's not a bad option, considering the ammount of rust I'm seeing.

I'm not so shabby with the tools.. just never done this before. Something about hard bent lines makes me nervous. Cracking open a bell housing or changing heads.. no issue, but when you rely on it to save your life.. I guess it's different. I'll take the advice. Brake shop time..
there's a first time for everything, practice flaring and bending lines if it makes u feel more confident. after that, then decide whether u want to do it yourself or not
hey man, did you ever get those brake lines fixed? if not i've done my fair share of them and i'll be back in town in august. i can teach you, it's very straight forward
