I just received my car back from the tuner/installer of my K20A that went into my 93 EG and went to install my Sparco Harness Bar.
I think that maybe the guys that I bought it from may have either sent me the wrong one or left out some parts. I can attach the bottom part of the harness bar without problems but when it comes to installing the bar to the side/door pillars is where I get a problem. There is no way to actually mount the bar onto the pillar. Every site I visit (Sparco, and others) show the harness bar to be different to what I have. I have included photo's for you to see what I am talking about. There were no installation instructions included and on the Sparco web site there were none for the civic, only the integra (which were useful, up to this point).
This is what its supposed to look like:

This is what I have:

Am I right in thinking there are parts missing or this is the incorrect harness bar for my application?
Thanks in advance!

I have a similar set up. Yes, I believe you have the wrong application or you are missing parts. I had some 'L' shaped brackets between the 'B' post and the bar.
Its looks like it might be the wrong part, so get somewhere else, or do this: Find out the distance between where the part is and where it should be. The cut that length out of the space in the middle, then weld it back together! It wont even look ghetto, and the part will fit!
