f22 block with different heads?
Lots of kinds will go on the F22 block with a little modification. The most successful of the swaps are the H22 and H23/DOHC F22B heads.
Check the FAQs sticky for the hybrids for more info.

goin to the junk yard tomorrow, primarily looking for a f22b sohc vtec anyone think theres something better that i could get. i know that there arent any h22s or h23s at the junk yard.
SOHC VTEC heads SUCK. Get an F22A nonVTEC head and you will make more power than with an F22bx.
F22A6 have the most aggressive SOHC nonVTEC cams from the factory.

Agreed. I've seen numbers on P&P jobs of F22a1 heads that outflow P&P GSR heads. F22a1s are underrated engines, they can be built up to be beastly. Go over to the http://www.CB7tuner.com forums and dig around. Also check out http://www.bisimoto.com. Bisi is the F22 king.
