my question.. WHY?!

some dude tonight was talkin all about how his friends "J-Spec ZC" was "Mad Fast" and is way better than "your crappy USDM D16a1". he said this can "keep up with his B16 crx". he said that the D16a1 in the 1st gen integra is "nothing like the ZC.

arent those thinks like 120 hp? and im shure you can get a "normal" ZC for a lil cheaper, right?

TRANSLATION: what is the power output of a SOHC ZC? are they more expensive than a DOHC ZC? I read else where that they put out like 120 hp. true?

 

I think they're cheaper. Lots cheaper.

 

I don't know the exact output of the SOHC ZC....But I know for a fact that the D16A1 has 113 Hp and DOHC ZC has about 128 Hp. SOHC ZC is belived to be somewhere in the 120 Hp range.

SOHC ZC's are just like the DOHC in the fact that they have the higher compression pistons and stronger bottom end.
