Default Just changed the transmission fluid on my 92 civic dx

Man it was soooo easy. I cant believe last time I had a shop do it for me. It was literally get that tight *** bolt off, with an air gun thing...let it drain, change ring, tighten back on, and fill.

My only question was I made sure I had it on a flat surface, when I added the new tranny fluid(bought at honda dealership), I added 2 quarts. I saw here on the forums that my tranny only held 1.9 and that it would leak some. I never got a leak. Is 2 quarts enough?

My shifts for my automatic is much better.

auto tranny holds like 8 quarts. if you want to clean it all up you need to do this process 3 or 4 times

eeerrr...>WRONG

His auto trans holds 2.9 qts drain and fill...full capacity is around 5, but thats after draining the torque converter and all valve bodies etc.

Hondas are fine to just drain and fill using ONLY Honda ATF Z-1

Okay so should I put more than 2 quarts of tranny fluid in it? I did use the fluid from the dealer...

Is 2 quarts enough or should I max out the tranny???

so filling up the tranny is good? I will definately buy another quart and filler up if you guys recommend that.

I know that I have 2 quarts in it, because when I drained it... it was on a flat surface, and when I filled it, no spillage came.

So my tranny can hold about 2.9 quarts?
