Must feel like a totally different car now. You probably pick up some more power if you lengten your intake some more.

You, my friend have claimed the world's smallest intake award, haha

Nice gains. Get a 3in intake and add some length on the intake pipe. Should bring up more power.

I will try the two different sizes- 2.5 and 3. but i tried ti keep it as big as the TB so there would be maximum velocity and no turbulance from the 3 to the 2.5 coupler.

Sorry for the thread hijack Taylor.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Casey &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">yeah his car makes awesome power for basically stock with bolt ons. id like 190/130 with bolt ons and mild cams, hes like 5whp/1tq from that on his stock cams and tune haha</TD></TR></TABLE>

On my basic 'break in' tune on AEM EMS

(I ran under Taylor's run file on accident, hence the 'tune on crome' title)

We haven't gotten it back on the dyno to really fine tune it in, it'll be done before EXPO next weekend though. I'm thinking 188whp/130-133ftlbs is very well obtainable... The car's making more and more power after every mile put on.

Modifications for those who are curious:

Bolt on:

- TODA header
- Omnipower testpipe
- DC Sports 2.3/8" exhaust
- 3" SRI pipe/BPi velocity stack/K&N filter

Fuel:

- Stock fuel delivery system
- AEM EMS

Internal:

- ARP head studs (Not that it matters)
- Supertech 'All Motor' valvesprings
- Otherwise stock
- Stock 10.6:1CR

I'm only revving to 8,400RPM on the dyno... I fail. (Rev limiter is at 9,200RPM)

Yeah, i do have it set to low, it loads up right there, i will raise it soon

The stock rev was at 8600 on the pct, i dont have valve springs, i dont want to raise it untill i get some.

nice, but maybe his tach is off, maybe not. Or maybe he does have some head work done.. i wouldnt know unless i found more info on that car.

i will look into raising it, but the extra 400 rpms would not really make a difference i dont think, the power was peaking and the tq was falling.

reving past the peak depending on how fast it falls off can make all hte difference going down the track
