You could get the lower tie bars, maybe some nice brake pads, maybe a steering wheel plus hub.

Or, blow it on a Spoon Radiator Cap and Spoon Magnetic Drain Plugs

Or, save it and get something really good, it's amazing how much you can save when Ramen is your only source of food and the tap is your only source of refreshment.

You might be going "these guys don't understand, that's something my mom would say" But they're right. 150 dollars here, 100 dollars there, and pretty soon you could've saved up and bought a new motor, and the wait would be worth it and rewarding. If you really want something for your car, put something on that works no matter what engine, brakes and suspension you have. This way, you are never throwing your money away because you have to upgrade.

Depends on your focus? What your plans are for your car?Racing, showing ,Drag'n, little of every thing?
Here are a few for $150 or less.
The first one isn't glamorous, but a good idea for every one.
1.Energy Suspension complete car bushing Kit
2.Lowering springs
3.Short shifter
4.Cam gear
5.Ceramic brake pads
6.Tinted windows
List can go on......

I would consider sinking the money into an mpfi swap. If you plan on doing a swap eventually this will save you some headache then.

well you can save just a bit 150 and buy some skunk 2 coilovers or if you have a site devoted to the import scene where you live look on the board people sell used stuff on there all the time you just have to make sure its not in bad condition

You're definately NOT going to get $150 worth of performance from a cam gear.

Get something you know you can feel. I say avoid motor specific purchases because you may eventually swap motors.

A short shifter is nice if you like that sort of thing. I highly recommend a Neuspeed or very similar sized. The cheap ones are often too tall and to short on the throw. The Neuspeed is nicely balanced.

Lowering springs wouldn't be bad, but you have to think of your shock situation. You'll need shocks with most springs.

My vote goes to a rear swaybar upgrade.

i'd get the suspension techniques rear swaybar (only the rear!) from lightningmotorsports.com, set it on it's stiffest setting, and enjoy some oversteer.

-If you have a GF....Leave her. Or just tell her that your car mean's more to you
-Eat Cup'O'noodles
-Stick that money in a Savings account
-Get a Job

you'll have enough to get a JunkYard turbo setup in no time!

Jk, on the GF.

Buy some springs or coilovers, dont worry about buying shocks and struts.
Try to avoid the peeps that sell alot on ebay, they take a long time to ship from what i have heard. Im talking about the people who advertise stuff but dont have it in stock.
