Default 14k for a 05 DC5

Like the title says is a 2005 acura rsx type s with 57,000 miles miles worth 14k?
I got to test drive the car for 45mins it drove smooth, and clutch was also good.
The only problems were a broken passenger vent, and the fender, door and quater panel were all painted because the car was keyed. He got the car wet sanded and waxed so the car looks all the same. The car also is coming with a 75,000 mile extended warranty. Which covers the car under the orginal owner but some dealers still do the work for free. Okey than that the brakes were good, and tires were new.

What do you guys think?

Does anyone have a carfax account? i really dont feel like paying 30 bucks for one carfax

But yea he wanted 14,500, after driving the car around I offered him 14K he said he'll entertain it.
Yea the outside is clean, the inside is ok. The shift boot and shift **** are both peeling, and the inside of the car has a the scent of cigarette smoke and the trunk cover is missing. The radio has faded buttons. I know its nothing major but theres a few little things i dont like.

That sounds like good deal, But also is the guy that you are buying it front the first owner? How old is the guy your are buying it from? Is it 100% stock? I haven't seen any Carfax thread here of late either.

Same here, I'm looking at a few cars in various sites and don't want to pay also. Does anyone have an account they can share? That would be great if any of you guys can PM it to both of us.

The rest of this post will basically be pointless until you do a carfax report. I don't think anyone could give you any good advice without any knowledge of the vehicles history.

yeah see get a carfax becuase i bought my pre-owned rsx-s and it turn outs that the previvous owner had backed up and messed up the rear driver side and had it repaired and repainted.. the only way i found out was because i have an uncle who has an auto-body and i took my car in to get the rear and front bumper, and he pointed out to me that it had been repainted... i was so pissed. But i have had my rsx-s for 2yrs now cant go complain to the dealer no more even if it was an acura dealer.....

i would still like to get a carfax for my rsx so if any can find a place to get it for free... dont want to pay

In 05 i got my 02 with around 50k miles on it for 15k, so that's a good fair price for that 05 youre looking at

Inspect the WHOLE car from top to bottom... Gettin' a carfax report is good idea, however the car could have been in a accident and not reported !!!

It was a great deal so i guess the guy realized, and therefore he flaked!!!!
I was suppose to pick it up weds. he never picked up my phone, and never returned my phone call. I called him twice on weds. and twice on Thursday, and left him a voice mail; He never called me back.
I found a red ap2 for 18K with 53,000 miles, i might finance it at a used car dealer if they take my offer of $17,500.
