So I just installed D2 coilovers a week ago.

yesterday I drove to CT for an accord meet. Lots of potholes and stuff.


Now when I'm at a stop and give it gas, my car makes a POP noise kinda sounds like a balljoint. Same when I brake it goes pop...


Could it be the balljoint? or suspension or what?


To my knowledge all there is is the tie rod end or the lower balljoint could be messed up correct? or would it be my suspension already toast?

 

i'm no pro here but few stuff we could use:
-miles on car
-last time you change ur bushings
-ur engine mounts
-is your suspension seated correctly or tightened

 

I'm gonna put my money on the front motor mount.

 

would it consider betting if u had no odds? cuz i'm going for front motor mount too lol.

 

I had the same problem and I had both the frot Motor Mount out and the lower control arm bushings needed to be replaced. your problem sounds like a Motor mount.

 

im not sure what kinda pop u get .. but i got a pop and it was my outter tie rod ..
