ok im just about all out of ideas, i need some help! i changed the cylinder head on my 94 del sol (1.5 non vtec) i adjusted the timing changed the plugs wires distributor head gasket intake gasket ECU and it still idles funny, then when i rev it up and release the gas it dies out. I need some help please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Maybe the IAC is clogged with some gunk. Check the map and tps sensors also.

ignition timing at?

Not using a CRX Si head/cam are you?

 

I had some thing like that happen when I installed the head package on my girls SI, check your vacume hoses off the back of the manifold, vary good chance it will be one of those. Best way to check for leaks is with a propane test. It will find the leak quicker than your eyes will.
