It looks good, nice fitment, but, it's scary that this is legal -

Yeah, I know nothing about drag either, but in general, I'm talking about the non-reinforced rivet/screw (can't tell) holes walking down the rear runner.
Maybe scary is a bit much, worrisome would be better, mostly because it's very common and really weakens the tube in question (plus that one has several in series).
But, like I said, overall it looks good to me.

Fitment is ****. Any reason you prefer to bolt/sandwich main hoop plates, instead of welding it in?

Do other sanctioning bodies prohibit/mention drilling holes in the tubes (size, amount, location..). I'm only familiar with NHRA rule book and was just curious.

i think NHRA rules are a lot more lax than any roadrace sanctioning body.it seems to me that some of their rules on rollcage construction don't have safety as a first priority.
i've also noticed that the Autopower rollbar with the removeable harness bar is bent similar to the one above.seems like it would give up a lot of strength in a side impact.i guess the door bar is a compromise between keeping the stock interior and keeping the rest of the bar as far away from the driver as possible.not sure if SFWD rules allow the armrest on the door panel to be notched to allow the bar to sit back in there,but that sure would be nice.

That is an interesting way to run the d-bar. Would anyone see a reason why you could not just make an x instead of the traditional v arrangement with another base plate? Seems like the x would be an all around better arrangement especially in this model of civic.

I would not drill into a structural part of the chassis.... bad joo joo
I would not bend a tube for it SUCKS in compression and tension.
Triangulation is your friend.
Try to tie tubes together at nodes as to not put tubes in bending....
nice work....but I would recommend you cease to continue to make cages w/out making the above noted reasons.
