You can definately use the crx dash. It bolt in like oem actually as long as you also grabbed the center console bracket that bolts to the exhaust tunnel

But which cluster did you want to use?

If you use the 88 si cluster than you have to do some depinning/repinning of the cluster plugs. If you want to use your 90 dx cluster you'll need a 90-91 crx cluster cover. Or you could just buy a 90-91 si/ex 5 speed cluster and the 90-91 crx cluster cover. A lot of options

I actually have done this conversion before. I used a 91 crx si dash with an SiR cluster in my 89 hatch std. I liked it. The crx dash is a little more aestheticly pleasing but if your a tall guy like me it cuts your leg room down a tad because of the center console

yeah i got it all. i forgot to grab the cluster hood but im gonna get it today hopefully, i just like how the crx dash looks. it shouldn't be hard. i pulled it out in like ten mins. its the same color as my civic dash,. the only reason i wouldent want to pull the civic dash is because its in perfect shape. i mean the crx one is clean too. but my seats are still hard from lack of being driven.
