heres my situation. i had my car dropped previously on ebay coilovers. the mechanic set them up for what im sure was like a 5" drop (when i asked for 2)so it blew out the struts right away, the front only. i didnt do the back because i needed new strut mount bushings. so i put the front springs back on along with kyb gr2 struts. im going to drop my car again, so im wondering if i can lower the car around 1.75-2 inches with the gr2s in the front and 1.5 with the stock struts in the back? i live in newark and go to work in jersey city so i see plenty of potholes along the way. so i need lowering springs that give me a decent drop, while still being soft enough and handling at least better than stock. i was looking at h&r and skunk2. any recommendations. and will the struts hold up?
