Default check engine light

My check engine light is on in my 90 CRX Si with a ZC swap so i I pulled the carpet up to take a look at my ECU. The LED light blinks once, then 9 times then 20 times. The FAQ i read said that 1 means oxygen sensor which makes sense because that sensor is unhooked. It says 9 times means cylinder sensor and 20 times means electrical load detector. Can anybdy help me figure out why it might be throwing those two codes and how do I go about fixing it?

if its a dohc zc, then the code 9 is your cam angle sensor, which means either your exhaust cam jumped a tooth, or the sensor is bad/wired up wrong....swap the 2 wires first and see if that fixes the code 9
code 20 is pretty self explanetory...you've got an excessive electrical load, or your alternator cant produce enough voltage/amperage
good luck

You could also have a bad harness or engine ground for ELD.

Your code 20 is most likely a ground somewhere. We see these kinds of threads all the time and that's usually the culprit. I even had my own code 20 once and it was the ground

Yah my ground wires are all rotten. They're green haha. Ok well I'll change them and see what happens. As for the electrical load thing, my alternator is on the way out so I'll get a new one and hopefully that will help.

you can replace them with fat gauge speaker wire from what i herd, they work just as well. but i went out and just got one of those hyperground cables because they look just down right sick!

yah man that ground cable does look sweet. I have 4 gage speaker wire so I guess I'll give that a shot.
