well i have an obd-0 engine harness and i believer this is the water temp sensor for the obd-0 LS block"picture below", well i just swapped in a obd-2 b18b engine and i noticed that it has the temp sensor on the thermostat housing, so i tryed running a plug to that temp sensor by the thermostat and my temp warm's up half way when my engine is cold i thought i had the wire's backwards and i switched them around and same thing, even when i disconnect the plug from the temp sensor does the same any input thanks..
