Default 90 Accord, Need Door Key Made... Easy question....

Are the door key and glove box key the same on a 90 Honda Accord? If so, i plan to take my glove box to a locksmith and have a key made...

I ask this because I dnt have a key to lock/unlock my doors.

Door and glove? Yes

I'm not sure if the spare works in the glove or not, but if it works in the glove it should work in the door

*edit*

Just give a Honda dealership your VIN and proof of ownership, $12 and 10 seconds later you have an OEM key

some original keys have the number stamped into the metal part by the head. this is what the parts dept use to cut you new keys....perfect match! valet keys are usually thicker so it won't go into the glove/trunk lock?/trunk?.

Thanks so much man. I will def try that first. Sounds like it will be a LOT cheaper than going to a lock smith.

So your saying that they can make me a key and everything for that car just from my vin number?

Yeah, just show up with like the registration and your proof of ownership, since they don't have a chip in them to program it's less than $20 to get a brand new key, I walked in and out of Honda in 10 minutes with my new keys.
