EDM guage cluster
Hey all first off I'm new here so please forgive me any improper etiquete. So here's the question... I have an 88 crx and I just bought an 88 EDM guage cluster from an 88 vti and while the plugs are shaped the same the wires are all wrong i.e when i turn on the head lights the fuel guage goes to full (although that would be a nice feature LOL!) So...I am looking for a wiring diagram for BOTH guage clusters so i can get this thing to work. I was directed here from another site but I can't find it in the archives. Any help appreciated!
I don't think that there was a vti in 1988 in Europe.
I have a 1990 VT cluster for lone of my cars. All i did to avoid wiring issues was take the gauges out of the edm cluster, and put them in the usdm cluster housing. It's the green print sheet on the back that makes the difference.

I have done this same swap in my 88 civic. All you need to do is take the cluster covers off, by this I mean the clear facing and the piece which it is attached to, pull the guages out of your stock cluster and youre EDM one (assuming you have a factory tach). Just swap the EDM guages into the stock cluster. It cured all the wiring problems in my car, so good luck with yours.

Why the hell would you say that? Its specifically designed with a different calibration and reads the speedo cable exactly the same. Its a accurate as a Honda speedo it going to be.
Where to get...Europe obviously. It's out of a model called a VT or chassis code EE8

I had a ukdm zc cluster in my zc powered crx. If it comes with plugs you can cut the plugs off of your stock cluster and just match up the wire colors. Thats what I did and it worked perfectly.
Yea my speedo works fine and it happens to be the one that reads 150 mph but my cluster didnt come with the plugs so I could cut and swap (not that it would matter without the wiring diagrams from both) since I was just going to re-pin my plugs since they DO fit into the new cluster they are just obviusly not pinned the same. Anyone with diagrams or know where to find them??????

The colors are the same they just go to different locations

im going to try this with my edm cluster and take the guts out and switch them to my usdm cluster . because i cant get it to work for ****. my 89 si cluster has the 2 grey plugs and one small blue one and the edm cluster only has the plugs. oh yeah its the edm zc cluster with the 150mph and high redline.
