this sucks, it was just parked on the street. I don't even think they broken into the inside of the car. They just took off all the parts while it was parked in the street in a residential neighborhood in San Marcos.

If anyone in the area sees a silver colored JDM front end for sale, please let me know, thanks

Is the car parked in the same spot as when the parts were taken? Was this during the middle of the day or at night?

If it was during the day someone must have seen something.

They must have worked really fast and had no one see them.

thoes sir front bumpers are sick easy to remove, but im not sure how they got the hood open.

sucks man, if someone ever stole my sir front end i would be raging.

holy crap!! they took all that. i thought they just took the front end. i should have looked at the picture before i read the post. that is some messed up $h!t.

im not a pro at this or anything but I doesnt seen like its that hard to take it off.. if you have 2 set of hands I think that it could have been done in 20 min ..

unscrew the bumper lights... take off the inner bolts behinds the lense... unscrew the 2 screws on either side of the bumper in the wheel well... once you get that off take the the official 10mm to take off the bumper filler...... once you have that off you can pull down on the hood latch and then take the hood the head lights off with a trusty 10mm and a screwdriver....

all I have to say is that they didnt take the bumper support so keep and eye out for them if they come back for it.... and sorry man it
blows...

p.s. note to all of us.... if we have the money to spend one a jdm front end we should spend just as much on a good alarm system...

 

actually a neighbor did see two suspicious guys near my car before it happened. She said one guy was in a car while another guy was sitting on the sidewalk next to my car. I guess it must have been them.

 

that's unfortunate, it seems the import theft is going back up again in s.d. What part was it from? My 00 Si was stolen last week from the clmt, a lot of hondas have coming missing around there lately...

oops just re-read your post. San Marcos is it's own animal, but lame non the less.

bright side is they didn't take the whole car... I had my whole EF hatch stolen and burned to the ground just for the front end and it wasn't even JDM. [freak] thieves

 

damn i just saw the flicks... if this happened on the street they must have worked quick... how long did u park it there??? try to venture out and about cuz youll never know if you will run into someone who jacked your ****.
