ENGINE will not turn on, but turns over all day long

When the ignition is on, the main relay buzzes like crazy. I swaped out the relay with another main relay and nothing changes, only lights on the dash that stay on are the battery light and the check engine light. No oil light or anything else.

I tested for spark, i am gettin a faint spark.
I changed the distributor, cap and rotor, new ign coil, new plug wires.

the fuel pump will not engage, i ran a jumper wire to power the fuel pump sending unit so now im getting fuel.

Fuel+Spark= equals engine should turn on i would think.

I need someones help please.
Battery is good, starter is good.

 

Power to the main relay thru the ignition switch good?
Power from the ignition switch to the Black/yellow stripe wire at the dist?

 

Power is on the yellow/black wire at the dist.

the headlamp dimmer dial effects how loud the buzzing sound is.

Any reason why that would do that? or have anything to do with fireing up

 

Sounds like some serious wiring meltdown somewhere; the dimmer should have ne effect at all.

hey any update i have a silimer problem but my in the power relay i guess but is click when i turn the ckey and i hear my fuel pump turning over

 

Hey, yea it turned out to be a complete pain in the ***.

I tested everything and had a hell of a time.

What ended up being my problem. The speedometer needed to be replaced, which fixed the buzzing sound.

Check the power going to your fuel under the engine.. make sure everything is grounded. my ground was disconnected. very hard to see. found it, grounded it, turned on like a champ.
