Default Effects of hole in muffler

I recently bought a 1991 Accord to use as a daily driver for a year or so. It rides nice and is quiet, but when inspecting the muffler I noticed it has a hole in it. Doesn't make noise though. Is this effecting my performance at all? It passed emissions already so that isn't an issue.

Yeah don't sweat it until it actually poses a problem, ie starts to rust through completely and becomes loud.

If its not getting louder than I wouldnt replace it. I dought it is restricting flow. its up to you if you want to replace it or not. just put it on your things to do list.

I'll probably hold off. The idea of getting this car was just to drive it and not spend money. I'll just keep an eye on it.
