Default Resin/ epoxy for roof

Hey, Just a quick question for those of you that have had a patch on your roof... What brand/ type of glue/ resin/ epoxy did you use. My honda dealer has "repaired" my roof twice now, and everytime I put the roof down, the patches come off. Thanks for any help guys.

I used some Loctite flexible adhesive and some black fabric I had. It's still holding up after 2 months.

I tried fighting them on it, but they wont do it. at the MRSP is 50K + 15% tax in canada! not 34, so its even worse.

same thing happened with someones seats i believe. bottom line is they dont have a choice, they are just telling you they wont in hopes that you will fix it yourself and they dont have to spend money.

I called honda Canada. they told me that their only solution is to patch the roof, and that if i wasnt happy with it then there was nothing they could do to please me. and when i asked to speak to their boss, they said that there was nothing anyone could do for me and that we would have to agree to disagree and then she hung up.

I am super pissed at Honda, and I'm very dissipointed in what I thought was supposed to be a company with good customer service.

I used black silicone adhesive sealant 16B. You can find it in any auto store. It's a $5 fix and no rubbing issues.

Woooo! After 15 months of me driving them nuts, Honda Canada has broke down and ordered me a new roof assembly! and since the roof is on backorder, they gave me a loaner car to drive in the rain!

Just a little update.. Roof getting installed today, honda contracted it out to convertable shop and they are going to sand out all the rough edges, repaint the metal and install the roof! I can't wait to drive it again! I have been away in -50 degrees (c) weather for the past year! I am in need of a good long road trip!
