Default D-series shift linkage in a del sol

I recently acquired a del sol with a d-series trans in it. Among other things, it is missing the shift linkage. Since I intend to keep the current trans, will EK/EG d-series linkage work? I found about 8 billion threads regarding b-series linkage, and another billion with people who aren't sure. Does anyone know for sure? Thanks.

Like the b-series linkage, you need a Del Sol specific d-series linkage.

We just finished an auto-manual conversion in my Del Sol. We used a civic D-series shift linkage from an EG, but we had to have 2" welded onto it.
