Default k20 vs b-series mod prices...........

I got a used RSX for a daily driver that I had intended on keeping stock but recently caught the mod bug. I'm debating on whether I should sell my itr eg hatch to fund mods for the k20. Or just to build the b-series in the hatch. What's the price for mods on the k-series like? Is it comparable to the b-series? How's the reliability of a mildly built k20? Just trying to weigh my options of building the k20 or leave it stock.

The K20 will easily put down better numbers. If you do not include the "used" aftermarket parts, the pricing between modifying a K-series is very similar to that of a B-series. They're equally as rewarding, if you ask me. K-series just puts down better torque figures.

Mod the K: k-pro, intake, rbc manifold, cams, 4-1 header, 3" exhaust and a good tune.

I've seen those motors make 220 to 230 whp on a consistant basis.

just my opinion but if the b18 is already in a hatch i would stick with that. i know the k can make more power but that rsx has to weigh a good bit.
now if you had just the hatch shell and was debating on what to put in it....well.....

unless u decided to swap the K into the EG and the b18 into the rsx then i would suggest u mod the K..

If you don't have a lot cash mod your b18 eg. I beat my cousins rsx-s with an intake and exhaust on a gsr ej1. k20 can make a lot of power though but you gotta have the cash. Depends on your goals and what you want to do with it. eg is a better chassis for the track. You can still make good power with the b18c still and its a lot cheaper than the k series. You can mod the k20 though and get real good numbers to. I would do b18c though since i know the rsx-s is real heavy.
