Default Car turned off on highway and wont start.

A buddy of mine drove his car on the highway at high speeds 90-110 and all of a sudden it blew black cloud, speed decreased and turned off. Tried to start and will not start. We saw oil but not alot around the back of the block to the bottum of the oil pan.

Starter works, fuel pumping, got spark.

We took the timing belt off and tried to turn the crank pulley but would not rotate for some reason. Can a cracked or broken flywheel keep it from starting?

Whatever it is its not a cracked flywheel. It sounds like a problem with either the crank or really f'd up bearings.

Or their could be so much oil and junk in the cylinders that it cant compress at all.
