any idea i let the **** idle for a good minute and jerked on all the engine harness and the under dash harness to check for and sorts to see if it would kill it but nothing...
for my problem, i had my reverse lights unplugged because they werent working, and they hit the tranny casing..making them blow a fuse..i dunno keep looking around for frayed wires
A loose ground won't cause a short and won't blow a fuse.
A frayed wire or a shorted component will definately blow a fuse though. You'll have too look for a power wire from the ecu that is shorted to a ground source, or a component the ECU drives that is shorted causing the ecu fuse to blow. Don't worry about ground wires or even sensor wires, those don't carry any amperage and that's what blows fuses. It'll be a power wire to something or a component for sure.
These are hard problems to diagnose, so dig in man, good luck!

Okay, then the harness is good. But did you check maybe an out put that may be shorted and causing the fuse to pop. something that the ECU grounds. I haven't had this happen, but maybe an injector or a solenoid, or something of that nature. I may possibly be the computer itself. I would try to borrow a computer and see it that solves your problem, if not then I would go to town checking everything that the ECU handles.
Electrical problems suck man. Sorry, but good luck!
