it is actually a quad cam v6 with 3.0 w twin turbos and awd.
the weight is nearly the same as the supra tt 2jz that everyone raves about.
It just is little more sports car oriented than the average econobox.
have any of you raced a 3000gt VR4 or a Stealth rt/tt.
With 2 outboards right?

3000GT's aren't THAT heavy BTW. A 1998 VR4 is 3752lbs. In stock form those things are 60' BEASTS. 4,500rpms + slight clutch feather = 1.6 second 60' times.

an evo with full interior and half the power would be lucky to get into the tens, just the same as the many 10sec 3000gt running similar power.
I agree its a little heavy but the new gtr weighs more than a 3000gt.

dont get me wrong the evo is another great mitsubishi product but it far and above the average enthusiast's budget to make the cars fast and pay the payment.
Plus the evo looks like a grocery getter anyway,reminds me of my 99 accord.
I get compliments everywhere I go in my vr4
