difference between misfiring and/ rich or lean?

Default difference between misfiring and/ rich or lean?

how can you tell if your car has a misfire at certain rpms, or if its hitting a rich or lean spot? i dont have a wideband.

rich or lean will produce the same misfire. There are differences between the two misfire are quite substantial .

What are you trying to trouble shoot?

Well getting a wideband would sure as heck narrow down your possibilities...

Id get a wideband your almost playing in the dark there or you could check the plugs for lean or rich indications, or it could be ignition issues who knows.
