Question about final drive fitment...
Here's the setup:
USDM Si Tranny
USDM ITR LSD
I'm trying to put the JDM ITR 4.785 final drive in. Here's the question. I've heard back and forth answers. I already have the GSR / ITR differential, so I know it'll bolt up, BUT:
- do I need the first gear & countershaft too? Some people were saying you only need the diff, while others say you need both the diff, the countershaft and the first gear (just like how places sell the kits)?
