Default Brake Fade

Brake pedal is fading. Happens after I drive to work approx 7-10 miles. Car is new to me and the fluid was brown. I did a bleed. My question is that it seems to fade only when I have been driving for a bit and not right out of the driveway.

Try holding the brake pedal with a firm constant pressure to see if it creeps down.
That would mean the master cylinder is bypassing internally.

that probably is the master cylinder if it fades, also try bleeding your break lines to get all the air bubbles out but i advise that you tell a professional to do that otherwise danger ;x
