Default Just bought a 90 civic hatch

Hey everyone, just bought a 1990 civic hatch, 5speed.
Currently running a 2006 s2k, got this for a gas car mainly.. but would like to work on it also.

That's not rust on the corner panels, it's welded over steel with fiber glass. I need to sand, prim and paint.

Can anyone tell me anything worth knowing about this car? I'm a noob at them. I'm going to want to get an intake, and lower it for the first mods. Could anyone point me in the right direction for these things?

Thanks. Happy to be on the Civic page.

-Tom

ha looks just like my old one. when i got it, thats exactly the first thing i did.

yours isnt a SI, so there is no MPFI and you can pretty much swap anything into these as long as you do the MPFI wiring.

but looks pretty good, how much you get it for man?

It's a DX.

The guy had it down to $1950.... I talked him down to $1850... then I lost a $50 bill- which later I found... so I gave him $1800...

It was an automechnanics car.

Wow you kind of got raped compared to what I got mine for, lol. I gave some guy my xbox360 plus $500 for my DX. It came with Si wheels and seats.

Could you repeat that?

Not bad for $1800... How many miles? I'd say leave it be and use it for mileage... put your money into the s2000.

What kind of mileage do you get with the s2000?

tehe.

Not bad you paid a bit too much but it happens, even if you just want to put around do an MPFI swap imo. A real 10is HP + still run 87 near none milage change.
