well i just put in a d16z6 motor into my 91 crx si I went to fire it up and it made some weird nosies kinda like my starter was not good maybe? but then after i pusht the gas pedal a few tims it fired right up and only ran for like 3min!!! so i went over eveything and lookt at my fuel presure gauge and it dropt rigth down to 2psi??? sooo i dont think my starter would have anything to do with this! all i can think of is that my pump packt it in or maybe can it be my main relay?? i dont know i am pretty lost right now! so if anybody can help me out that would be awsome!!

Start w/ diagnostics.

Check power @ the Fuel pump w/ someone cranking the key.

If you have power while cranking.. then the relay is working and the other is not.
