Default g23 build finished today. feels weak and slow as hell

ok so i just finished my h22 head f23 block build. i am running 6 psi on a decent peiced together turbo kit. my timing is dead on. the car runs good but when i punch it, it has no ***** at all. it boost up but goes nowheere. it wont even chirp second. what could be the problem. my compression after checking was 184 in every cylinder accept number 2 was 182. haynes says that 184 is perfect for h and f series engines. could i be loseing power because i have no exhaust just open downpipe or is the car not getting fuel or what. any ideas please let me know. also when i give it gas it idles down really low then comes back up

tuning?
plug gap?

and no, not having an exhaust is not hurting your power.

why do people think they can drive untuned cars? No wonder you are not getting any power.

I would not even try tuning with a regulator without at least a wide-band O2... For the sake of your engine, please don't give it any throttle until you get a decent base map tuned. You could easily grenade your motor.

lol you dont have enough management? How much do u need??

Get a P28, have someone experienced socket it. And have an experienced Tuner tune the car on a dyno, with a wideband. What Map sensor are you using? or are u cheating with a missing link?

i am already running a socketed p28 base mapped for a h22. the 02 has been disabled so i dont believe i am gonna need a wideband 02. but i am gonna take the advice and not drive it til the tune. also i am running open downpipe. this is not my daily driver.

yea, im trying to figure out what having the o2 disabled has to do with having a wideband....

bet money that the car is A)
so little timing that its shooting the charge straight out the exhaust and causing extremely high EGT

B) its running so lean that it just cant make any power

i'm sure it will be fine to drive. Just stay out of boost until it is tuned.

it could also be running really super rich down low though, 65 psi on 345s is nearly double what stock pressure is....
