Throttle cable snapped?

Throttle cable snapped?
So my throttle cable seemed to have snapped, i felt it snapped as I accelerated, and I can pull out slack from engine compartment.
Going to go to mechanic Monday. Anyone have an idea how much im looking at spending on getting a new one? looks like its not the eaasiest thing to replace?

If you know how to install your hood cable then you should know how to install a throttle cable.
