Fitment of Bride RO / MO Rails to Recaro DC2 type R seats? I want to put thes in my NSX....
yo fellas,
I'm hoping all you JDM experts can lend a newbie a hand. I have a 2004 NSX but the OEM seats are too tall for me as my head bumps the upper roof. (I'm 6'2 and kinda tall for an asian fella)
My buddy told me to try and use the JDM Red Recaro DC2 Type-R seats in the NSX and I spent a day looking for red Recaro seats.
Problem is I don't know what rail will work with these seats. Bride sells both "RO" and "MO" rails for the NSX fitment that are bottom mounts.
This is what it looks like - can I make these rails fit a Recaro DC2 type-R seat?
Can someone who has these seats take some measurements for me on the width of the bolt patterns?
thanks for all the help,
rick

Since you're ballin in an nsx, you should consider some bride GIAS lowmax - those would definitely sit lower.....
IMO, the dc2r seats sit too high.

Do you know that you can get your driving position little lower with replace of the seat padding? You can get it from Dali Racing (be careful their repputation isn't very good, i have never deal with them).
As for the DC2 Recaro seat, i don't think you can get it any lower than the stock seat since it uses bottom mount rail. If you have ever remove the stock NSX seat it is already very low. In my NSX, i am current use fixed-back Recaro with side mount rail and i have the Recaro mount that so the bottom of the seat is actually push against the floor. By doing that i lowered my driving position (but isn't very much).
By the way i do have a set of DC2 Recaro in my EK4. Good luck!

Search NSXPrime...6' 2" is no problem for the NSX. Just remove the seat cushion and you are set to go. I know people that are 6' 5"+ and don't have any problems.
